Homedeal is the platform where homeowners and tradesmen come together. Are you looking for a tradesman for your project? Then you can request free quotations on this website. There are more than 2.000 tradesmen affiliated with Homedeal. When you request a quotation, this will be sent to a number of tradesmen that were selected by our system. These affiliated tradesmen will then contact you by telephone or by email to discuss your request. The tradesmen could also suggest to come to your home to discuss the project and your wishes. Based on this conversation, you'll receive a free quotation. You can then compare the different quotations at your own pace and choose the tradesman that best suits you.

How does it work?

  • Request up to 4 quote requests from tradesmen in your area for free.
  • Within 2 working days, tradesmen will contact you to discuss your wishes.
  • Compare quotations and find the best professional for your project.

General (regarding your quote request)

How long will it take for a tradesman to contact me after submitting a quote request?

Once your request has been forwarded through this website, the tradesman will contact you as soon as possible. Tradesmen will do their best to do so within 2 working days.

Can I contact a tradesman myself after submitting my request?

When you submit a quote request, the tradesman will contact you within 2 working days. If this takes longer than 2 working days, we suggest that you contact the tradesman. Their contact information can be found in the confirmation email that you receive after submitting your quote request.

Can I change my quote request details after they have been submitted?

You can still change your details after submitting your quote request. Your most important details, such as your name, email, and telephone number will be verified during the request process. If you would like to change your details or add documentation (such as pictures or blueprints) after your quote request has been submitted, please share these changes with the tradesman. Their contact information can be found in the confirmation email that you receive after submitting your quote request.

I have received less than 4 quotations. Why is that?

There are over 2.000 tradespeople affiliated with this platform. We do our best to send your quote request to 4 tradespeople. That way, you have the chance to compare multiple quotations. It can occur that there are fewer affiliated companies in your area - who could execute your project - that are available. That could lead to you receiving fewer than 4 quotations.

I only want to get a quotation from a company in my area. How do I do that?

When you request a quotation, you fill in your personal data. Initially, you will receive quotations from tradesmen in your area. If there are no active tradesmen in your area, then we will try to find tradesmen from other areas. So it could be that the tradesmen aren't from your immediate area.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes, your personal data is secure. We only use your personal data for the quote request. It will not be publicly shared and will only be shown to tradesmen.

Quality & reliability

How is the quality of the affiliated tradesmen?

We deeply value the quality of our tradesmen. To be allowed onto our platform as a tradesman, we enforce strict rules. Our tradesmen are always registered at the chamber of commerce. Additionally, we verify the company's certifications. If a tradesman has had complaints that we are aware of, they will no longer be allowed on this platform.

How do I verify the quality of the tradesmen myself?

In the confirmation email that you receive after submitting your quote request, it is shown how long a company has been affiliated with us. This is a good standard for the quality and reliability of the company. Additionally, we suggest that you check tradesmens' qualifications, certificates, warranties and reviews if applicable.

I have a complaint about the work that has been done. Who can I contact?

Homedeal has high standards for the quality of the tradesman. However, we are not liable for their work. If you're not satisfied with the work that has been done, please contact the tradesman. Try to find a solution together. If this does not work, contact us at [email protected].

Is there a warranty for the work that is done?

The warranty period varies per trade. Check the warranty period for the quotation that you receive. Confirm this with the tradesman that you wish to work with.
